Light Up & Tap: Follow the Glow! 💡
“Which one will light up next?” A few light-up sensors on the table were all it took to draw everyone’s attention. In SeniorCare’s light-and-tap activity, older adults watched for a sensor to illuminate, then reached out to tap it—a simple, engaging way to join in.
As the lights appeared in different positions, participants followed them with their eyes and responded with their hands. Some took a moment to aim before tapping, while others kept both hands ready. Staff were on hand to demonstrate and offer support, allowing everyone to take part at their own pace.
The game brought observation, attention and hand–eye coordination into a shared activity, with participants taking turns and watching for the next light together. Watch the video to catch the rhythm—follow the glow and give it a tap!
