Target Group  (Subsidised places)

Target Group  (Subsidised places) Elders aged 65 or above, being mentally suitable for communal living, and are assessed and recommended for Nursing Home under the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services. Persons aged between 60 and 64 may apply if there is a proven need for residential care based on health and/or social grounds, subject to their meeting the admission criteria.

Application Procedures

To apply/request referral for residential care services, elders or their families may approach Integrated Family Service Centres operated by the Social Welfare Department or non-governmental organisations, Medical Social Services Units operated by the Social Welfare Department or the Hospital Authority, District Elderly Community Centres, Neighbourhood Elderly Centres or other service units e.g. Family and Child Protective Services Units.

Admission Procedures

Upon receiving the referral for admission from SWD, intake interview as well as visit tour will be organized by our Registered Social Worker and Registered Nurse to assess applicant’s health and psycho-social needs. In normal situation, the admission procedures will be arranged within 4 weeks.

One month’s written notice or one month’s fee in lieu of notice

According to the standard fee set by the Social Welfare Department, currently at  $2,060 per month

Admission Procedures

Upon receiving the enquiry, intake interview will be organized by our Social Worker and Registered Nurse to assess applicant’s eligibility. The assessment results will be viewed by the Standardised Care Need Assessment Management Office (Elderly Services). Once the applicant is confirmed as eligible, the admission will be arranged as soon as possible.
