Senior Care Wellness residents viewing the “Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens”

Co-organised by the China Hong Kong Rugby Union, Senior Care Wellness, and the ELCHK Elderly Outreach Service Team.

The “Jockey Club Community Sevens Programme”, launched by Rugby For Good and generously funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club, was held in connection with the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2026. The ELCHK was honoured to coordinate and lead this activity, allowing residents of Senior Care Wellness to experience one of Hong Kong’s most iconic international sporting events in person.

Through this activity, the elderly participants were able not only to personally experience the vibrant atmosphere of a major international sporting event, but also to embody the spirit of “stepping out of the elderly home and integrating into the community.” It also created deep and precious memories for everyone involved.
